Real estate newsletter – winter 2022/23

Welcome to the winter edition of Hill Dickinson’s real estate newsletter, which we hope you will find of interest.

As we approach the deadline for overseas entities holding UK land to register on the new Register of Overseas Entities, we include two articles setting out the current position on this new regime.

Also in this edition, Afsor Ullah from our London office provides an introduction to Islamic finance, Helen Evans and Thomas Broughton from our Real Estate Litigation team explain how the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 criminalises trespassing in certain cases, and Rebecca Wakefield from our Healthcare property team considers the approval process for NHS primary care leases.

We also share some exciting news concerning the Hill Dickinson real estate team.

Finally, we are delighted to reveal the dates for our spring real estate update tour in March 2023.

If you have any queries relating to the issues raised in this newsletter, please contact the relevant author, or your usual Hill Dickinson contact.
